Justin Onorato was tragically taken from us on October 9, 2010 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Known affectionately as “Bam Bam” by his rugby brothers and sisters, Justin meant a lot to many people. During his tenure at Bentley, Justin was an integral part of our club both on and off the pitch. Justin was a huge part of our two National Championship squads in 2006 & 2007. Justin also served as president on the executive board. Once he stepped onto the pitch, his flair and over-the-top mentality were on display. From trucking through the opposition to his crazy pregame rants and blue and gold mohawks, Bam Bam was the heart and soul of the team. Off the pitch, Justin helped to mold the program into one of the most successful and well renowned organizations on campus.

Justin was a passionate, caring, and very interesting man. He put his teammates first and always brought a unique energy to the group. Off the pitch, Justin was the center of attention at our social events and bus rides. He had the ability to captivate the entire room with his storytelling abilities, some of which centered around his beloved cats. We are honored to have called him both friend and teammate and he will always be cherished in our club and our hearts. We are proud to cement his legacy in the Bentley Rugby history books through this annual award.
